Well, we did it! I want to personally thank you for everything you did to make the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project a success. The Hill Family Home is spectacular! We pulled together an amazing and talented team, an AAA+ team, and made that we initially thought may been the impossible, possible, and I am very grateful for that. To watch the people in our community come together the way that they did was truly inspiring. Watching people who in many cases had never worked together in some cases never even met before, walk onto the jobsite as strangers and then walk away as a part of a team, and part of something that seemed bigger than life, was really amazing! I think this was such an extraordinary opportunity and an incredible experience for everyone involved. We came together and changed people's lives! Not only did we change the lives of the Hill Family, we changed the lives of so many others that were involved in the process. One of the most interesting things about the entire experience for me was that as the project progressed, the focus became less about the home and more about the family and the people that came together to make it happen. There are so many great stories, so many special people, and so many once-in-a-lifetime experiences. I know this experience has changed my life tremendously. We "weathered the storm" literally, and against all odds made what seemed impossible, possible! Words cannot express my gratitude. Again, I thank you and want you to know that I greatly appreciate everything you did to make the Hill Family house a Home! Thank you for being there making it all happen - we all have so much to be proud of!

What do you do when you come home to find it raining for the kitchen ceiling and the basement is flooding? After pushing through the shock and turning off the water, I called The Travelers who were slow to respond and not very helpful. I then called your office and was referred to 24-7 Drying/Southern CT Restoration. Though I was initially skeptical about calling this firm because they were located in North Haven and I needed someone immediately, they responded quickly and arrived on the scene within the hour. Joseph Zichichi and his team had the water removed from the basement that same evening, which allowed the furnace to run uninterruptedly. This was a major concern because of my elderly mother in residence. His take charge plan to completely dry the house and stave off mold was very reassuring and effective. He also provided me his cell phone number and made himself available "24/7"; how many companies can you even get a hold of without running around circles in an endlessly automated directory, let alone speak to the Owner directly? In this case, I was always able to reach him; each question or concern was afforded immediate response. I have frankly never interacted with any company that was more professional, more consumer satisfaction oriented and respectful than 24/7 Drying/Southern CT Restoration. To say the "restoration" has been completed would be a misnomer as the house looks better than it did before the crisis! Such a crisis should not happen to anyone, but if it does, I would readily refer them to 24/7 Drying/Southern CT Restoration. Thank you very much for the referral.

To the Management at Southern CT Restoration: This note is in reference to work that was completed at my residence. My family was victim to a burglary attempt, at which time individuals broke through two basement doors and attempted to gain entry via a slider off our deck. Both garage doors needed to be replaced, as did the trim around the outside and inside of both doors. Although entry was not gained via the slider, the damage to the door was not repairable, thus a new door, track and trim packaged needed to be ordered. I cannot express enough how pleased my wife and I are with the work done by Southern CT Restoration. The attention to detail, as well as the skill and professionalism of the workers were absolutely first-rate. The new doors are clearly installed much better...and more secure than the original doors. The slider looks phenomenal. After the installation was complete, my wife and I were concerned with the aluminum flashing/trim that was around the outside of the door and slider. Southern CT Restoration came right back out and replaced all the pieces - again, a testament to the quality craftsmanship of your workforce. I would also like to note the professionalism of Joe Puglisi and his assistant / "right hand man" Terry. These two individuals were not only genuinely concerned with our situation, but they also made every effort to tailor the work exactly to our specifications. My wife and I feel extremely fortunate to have been assisted by both Joe and Terry. They clearly explained every aspect of the repair process, and they were overly-thorough with regard to evaluating our needs. I could not have been happier with this experience. Thank you very much for the wonderful service and care for my home/family. With so many providers out there, I have to believe that Southern CT Restoration stands out from the rest.

The past two days, Don and Junior were at my home in Southingon replacing sheet rock from winter ice dam damage. They were both very professional, knowledgeable and attentive to details. Dear Ms. Hitchens (Nationwide Insurance), I had the unfortunate circumstance of incurring considerable water damage to my home as a result of the vicious weather we experienced here in Connecticut in January of this year. This was also the first circumstance of ever having to file a homeowner’s insurance claim. I’d like to take an opportunity to express to you how very impressed I was by the services I received from the Nationwide team, specifically Steve Musclow from the National Catastrophe team. Having been focused on trying to limit further damage by removing ice dams and trying to channel water away from undamaged areas, we really didn’t appreciate just how much damage had been done. The result of Steve’s thorough assessment made it clear we a serious situation. Steve contacted Don Ceseretti, the Blue Ribbon Program Manager who immediately set to work in identifying an available contractor (not an easy task given how many homeowners were in similar straits). Steve and Don had us in contact with Southern CT Restoration within an hour. Joe Zichichi from Southern CT Restoration was on site the next morning (Sunday), his crew was here first thing Monday and by Monday evening initial remediation was complete and dehumidification was underway. Steve, Don and Joe have remained in constant contact answering questions and often offering support and reassurance. I’m looking forward to repairs being completed in the coming weeks and in the end I’ll be very grateful to Steve, Don and Joe for helping me and my family get our home back. Though I’m sure may people might simply expect the quality to service that I received during my recent claim, I’d like to express my sincerest thanks to Steve, Don, Joe and the entire Nationwide team for being “on my side” throughout this difficult time. Dear Joe, I want to thank you for all your fine work in restoring our home after a devastating fire in January 2012. I now know first-hand what an awful experience it is to go through a fire. But with your help, we were able to move back into the house in early July. The fire damaged our house right down to exterior walls. I now have a new roof, insulation, electrical wiring and fixtures, sheetrock, windows, plumbing, flooring, carpeting and kitchen appliances. The house is freshly painted, inside and outside. You and your crew were easy to work with and did a great job.
